About

Built by people who have had to explain the number.

minrva is an early-stage FP&A product for the gap between source data, planning systems, and the monthly story finance has to tell. The company is recruiting pilots, not pretending the work is already finished.

Story

The spreadsheet is still where judgment happens. The work around is the problem.

Finance teams do not need another surface that makes the chart louder and the logic harder to inspect. They need a way to ask sharper questions, reconcile the answer, and carry the explanation into the next meeting.

Strategy, craft, and sober judgment — that is the promise behind the name.

Architecture

A hub for questions, spokes for the work.

The product direction is simple: one place to ask, with structured work happening behind it — forecast updates, variance analysis, source checks, and narrative drafts.

Finance workflows compounded by one minrva

Founders

Small team. Direct experience.

Two co-founders, both in seat. One on engineering and product. One on finance and operations.

Co-founder and engineer based in Northern California, twelve years in software engineering and six years in Finance and Accounting. Co-founder Matt Brown, CPA — works at the intersection of accounting, finance, systems, and operations; experience spans public accounting, controllership, CFO leadership, ERP implementation, financial architecture, and process design.

Now recruiting

We want pilots who will be blunt about what breaks.

If your team is doing real FP&A work and the current toolchain forces too much manual explanation, help shape minrva while it is still malleable.
